After graduating, Cory moved back to his hometown of San Diego, California, to begin his music therapy internship with MusicWorx and Resounding Joy. During his internship, he provided music therapy services for a variety of populations at numerous locations such as Camp Pendleton, Naval Medical Center San Diego, Scripps Drug and Alcohol Treatment Program, Scripps La Jolla Memorial Hospital, Rady Children’s Hospital, Belmont Village Senior Living Sabre Springs, and the Sam and Rose Stein Education Center.

Currently, as the Director of Semper Sound, he facilitates individual and group therapy sessions for active duty military veterans and military families at VA San Diego Healthcare System, VA Aspire Center, and Naval Medical Center San Diego. Cory is grateful to be back in his hometown where he can give back to his community using music!
