Training Programs

AudAbility Training
Empower individuals with Parkinson’s disease to “Live Out Loud!” through AudAbility, an exciting series of music therapy-based programs. Include AudAbility in your clinical practice to diversify your business and build community partnerships. As an AudAbility facilitator, you will lead engaging, effective, research-based classes to address physical, speech, social-emotional, and neurological needs of people with Parkinson’s and their Care Partners. AudAbility was developed by MusicWorx Inc. in partnership with the Parkinson’s Association of San Diego.

Joy Giver Training
Advocate, educate, and empower others to give joy through the power of music. As a Resounding Joy Giver Provider, you will train community volunteers to effectively use music to engage with older adults. This program is geared to equip you, a board-certified music therapist, with the resources you need to establish a music-based community outreach program. This model has been tested and refined for over a decade through Resounding Joy Inc. Learn about the recruitment process, skill training, and how to develop a sustainable program.

Shine & Sing Provider Training
Stimulate growth, enhance development, and facilitate family bonding with 0-5 year-old children and their parents/caregivers. Provide Shine & Sing group music therapy classes in your practice. This family-friendly program addresses speech and communication, physical, developmental, cognitive, and sensory needs. Shine & Shine has been implemented to address a variety of needs such as medically fragile toddlers and children with developmental needs. Learn songs and strategies for helping little ones shine!
