Gain insight into music therapy in long-term care. This presentation will address three important components of group sessions. Research, music therapy interventions, and real-life examples will be included. Attendees will learn how to create a stronger music therapy program that benefits residents, staff, and themselves.
Presenter Bio
Laura Cribb, LPMT, MT-BC, CDP, CMDCP specializes in music therapy with older adults with dementia. She created the music therapy program at Baptist Village in Waycross, GA, where she has worked for 4 years. Laura is a Certified Dementia Practitioner, Certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional, and completed a Certificate in Gerontology.
