Session Description
In this presentation, an innovative multidisciplinary approach will be presented that was created in the “ELEPAP- Rehabilitation for the Disabled” infant unit in Athens, Greece. The program will be discussed on its effectiveness on parent-infant bonding, social interaction and relaxation. The importance of co-treatment between the music therapist, the physical therapist and the mental health counselor will be explained. Additionally, videos will be shown in order to demonstrate the way that therapeutic goals are achieved. Finally, the qualitative results of the parent satisfaction survey in the middle and at the end of the academic year will be analyzed.
